In Ayurveda, a physician incurs fault (Dosha) if they administer medicine to a patient without considering Desh (place/constitution), Kaal (time/season), and Matra (dosage). In the exact same way, a Vastu consultant must also carefully evaluate, inspect, test, and draw precise inferences based on Desh, Kaal, and Matra before suggesting remedies for a space (Vastu).

Desh (Space/Land): Refers to the land of the property, its type, slope, shape, etc.

Kaal (Time): Refers to the movement of time, which includes natural time, seasonal time (Ritu), solar movement (Ayan), day and night, and auspicious times (Muhurta). It involves analyzing the five elements of the Panchang—Samvatsar, Ayan, Month, and Planetary strength (Grahabal). One must thoughtfully consider which time period for worship or remedies will yield maximum benefits for the homeowner without causing unforeseen obstacles.

Matra (Quantity/Dosage): Refers to the exact extent to which a remedy should be performed. For example: If chanting (Japa) is required, how many counts? How many offerings (Havan) should be made for the planets? Likewise, what quantity of metals or consecrated gemstones (Ratna Samskar) should be placed, and in which direction? All these aspects are relative to both the individual and their residential or commercial property.

While Desh (space) is extensively covered in core Vastu Shastra scriptures, Kaal (time) is determined using Astrology (Jyotish Shastra). However, when determining the exact Matra (dosage) customized specifically to a person and their Vastu, suggestions can only be derived through Dowsing.

The Role of Pendulum Dowsing in Vastu

When a Vastu expert uses Dowsing (Pendulum science) to determine the exact dosage/quantity of remedies, it greatly aids in rectifying Vastu flaws (Vastu Dosha).

Whether gemstone placement (Ratna Nikshep) in a property should be done according to Manasara, Mayamatam, or Astrological perspectives must be determined first. Once this methodology is fixed, the subsequent procedures become remarkably smooth.

After deciding the method:

1.The exact location and direction within the Vastu for gemstone placement is identified using a pendulum.

2.The exact quantity—how many carats of gemstones to deposit—is decided.

3.The grade and energy levels of the gemstones are evaluated using the pendulum.

One can spend lakhs of rupees to buy beautifully cut, transparent, and colorfully exquisite gemstones. However, identifying a gemstone with the maximum positive energy suitable for wearing or Vastu placement can be a complex task. With mental focus and pendulum dowsing, one can find high-energy gemstones and reduce expenses from lakhs to just thousands of rupees. Testing the weight and quality of gemstones through dowsing yields faster, highly targeted, and expected results for both the person and the property.

My Personal Realization

Coming from a family with a rich lineage in astrology, astrology is as vital to me as my breath. According to traditional astrology, wearing gemstones associated with the Lagnesh (Ascendant Lord), Panchesh (5th House Lord), Bhagyesh (9th House Lord), or Yogakaraka planets brings prosperity.

However, my sweet misconception was completely transformed after I adopted Dowsing.

For instance, during a Sade Sati period, whether a person should wear a Blue Sapphire (Neelam) for Saturn, a Pearl (Moti) for the Moon, or a gemstone for the current Mahadasha/Antardasha lord—this subtle and otherwise incomprehensible accuracy can only be revealed through Dowsing.

Dowsing is the most precise tool to determine when an individual should wear gemstones related to Rahu and Ketu. In Vastu Shastra, whether gemstone installation should be carried out according to 1) Mayamatam, 2) Manasara, or 3) Astrological perspectives, the correct guidance can only be obtained through Dowsing.

Decisions regarding remedies for specific directional flaws in a property—such as non-cardinal (Vidisha) structures, extensions, or cuts—and what additional elements need to be placed within the Vastu, should only be planned after determining them through dowsing.

Another conscious step one can take is measuring a person’s body energy both before and after wearing a gemstone. This allows one to directly observe the positive alignment and favorable shifts brought into their life after wearing the stone.

By standing at the Brahmasthan (the central core) of a Vastu, one can evaluate the existing positive or negative energy levels before applying any remedy. Furthermore, after remedies are implemented, dowsing helps you understand precisely how much the energy has improved.

Just like gemstones, Metal Consecration (Dhatu Samskar) is a frequently overlooked topic in Vastu Shastra, yet it can be handled extremely effectively using a pendulum. Instead of performing nominal metal remedies, pendulum dowsing provides an accurate estimate of whether the metal should be embedded in grams, kilograms, quintals, or tons. Although metal remedies may not always be cheap, from a results standpoint, they serve as a powerful defense against potential future mishaps and risks.

When detecting Shalya Dosha (hidden negative debris or objects) in a property, one can map out the accurate location on the building layout using a pendulum. Dowsing pinpoints which direction the Shalya is located and how many feet deep underground it lies. Once the Shalya is located, informed decisions can be made regarding its removal or ritual neutralizations.

Because dowsing can easily predict how many days a remedy will take to yield results, it instills confidence in the consultant and faith in the client. This mutual trust makes it simpler and smoother to execute solid solutions for both Vastu and planetary flaws (Graha Dosha).

Remedies suggested through dowsing yield highly effective results against radiation, geopathic stress, and various other environmental flaws within a space.

Many properties have irregular geometry—such as triangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, or polygonal shapes. In such structures, identifying the exact center, the main central deity (Brahma Pad), or the precise spot for Shanku Sthapana (sacred pillar/peg placement) is a complex and challenging task. By holding the pendulum over a corner and querying the central point (Nabhi Bindu), the pendulum moves directly toward the exact location for Shanku Sthapana, making it simple to pinpoint both on-site and on architectural maps.

Selecting curtains and colors for unwanted windows—especially those in the Southwest, South, and West directions—has produced astonishing results through dowsing. Often, dowsing indicates a blue curtain for a South wall; the underlying reason for this can only be fully comprehended by those well-versed in Predictive Astrology (Phal Jyotish).
When constructing a new building, deciding which color to paint each room or which tile color to use—and verifying whether it aligns with the hom

eowner—can be mapped out comprehensively through dowsing charts. The pendulum handles colorcoordination with incredible precision and neatness.

The answers provided by the pendulum are completely in alignment with Vastu Shastra, Dharma Shastra (Scriptures), Astrology (Jyotish Shastra), Spirituality (Adhyatma Shastra), Gemology (Ratna Shastra), and all other traditional sciences. There is total consistency across the answers derived from these various sciences, and no contradiction or discrepancy is found in the pendulum’s responses.

When considering remedies for Vastu flaws (Vastu Doshas), evaluating fragrances (Gandha) is extremely essential. Determining which fragrance proves beneficial for a specific flaw and observing how its regular use enhances the positive energy of a space requires testing various types of incense (Dhup), camphor (Kapur), fragrant flowers, and culinary spices. The confusion regarding which specific fragrance to recommend for a particular property is eliminated through regular dowsing practice with the pendulum, helping one select the exact right scent.

In the market, pharmaceutical companies manufacture specific medicines for specific illnesses and ailments.

However, taking medication under a doctor’s advice is far more beneficial because a doctor adjusts the medicinetailored to the individual patient. In Ayurveda, Anupana (specific mediums or vehicles for medicine) is used to cure patients. In the exact same way, it is essential for a Vastu consultant to learn Dowsing alongside their Vastu Shastra education. Otherwise, just as prescribing the same medicine to every patient is dangerous, applying the same generic remedies to all Vastu flaws carries significant risk.

In many flats, the main entrance of the home or building may not be located in the ideal grid position (Pad) as prescribed by Vastu Shastra. In such cases, altering or shifting the door to the correct grid position is often difficult and impractical. At such times, dowsing helps determine which adjacent deity grid (Pad Devta)—either to the left or right—is most favorable for the homeowner, allowing one to suggest solid, non-demolition remedies for the incorrectly placed door and frame.

During religious rituals and remedies, among the 45 deity grids (Pad Devtas) in Vastu Shastra, dowsing helps determine which specific deity’s fire offerings (Havan) should be prioritized, which currently available sacred ingredients (Havan Samagri) to use, and the precise number of oblations (Ahutis) to offer. By creating various customized charts, specialized Havans and specific offering materials can be effectively utilized.

Regarding spiritual practices—which mantras to chant, how many times, at what time, by whom, which spiritual discipline (Upasana) to follow, which hymns (Stotras) to recite, or which specific remedies (Todke) to perform—these must be customized for each individual. Just as needs vary from the student phase (Brahmacharya) to later stages of life (Vanaprastha), I personally rely heavily on the pendulum to suggest suitable spiritual practices, and I have witnessed wonderful, transformative results.

In many properties, it is observed that despite having numerous structural flaws according to Vastu rules, no negative impacts are felt. This is because there are certain Power Spots (Shakti Sthans) within the property that generate positive energy. While searching for these power spots, when standing at the central core

(Brahmasthan) and asking the pendulum questions, following its directed path has led to the discovery of sacred objects like Shaligram, Narmadeshwar Lingam, Shree Yantra, Dakshinavarti Shankh (right-handed conch), or specific nearby trees. The auspicious and positive effects of these power spots were clearly reflected both on the property and its inhabitants. This insight is truly a unique and invaluable gift provided by Dowsing.
